Cleaning Grass Stains from Brocade Step-by-Step

  1. Mix a solution of one part distilled white vinegar to two parts cold water.
  2. Soak the stained fabric in the mixture for five minutes.
  3. Scrub the stain gently with a soft brush.
  4. Rinse the fabric in cold water.
  5. Gently wring out any excess moisture.
  6. Lay the fabric flat to air dry or put in the dryer on a low setting.

Additional Tips

  • If the grass stain persists, mix equal parts liquid dish soap and hydrogen peroxide. Make sure to wear gloves as hydrogen peroxide can be irritating to your skin.
  • Test any cleaning solution on a small area of fabric to ensure that it won't cause any damage.
  • For stubborn grass stains from brocade, you can also use a laundry pre-treatment like Spray & Wash or OxiClean.
