The first step in removing grass stains is to gently soak the affected area in warm water for about 15 minutes. This loosens up the stain, allowing it to be removed more easily.
After soaking, you'll want to treat the affected area with a laundry detergent and/or stain remover. Work the product into the fabric using a brush or your fingers and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
Once you've given stain remover time to work, throw the bikini in the washing machine and rinse it with cold water. Follow the instructions on the label of your detergent to ensure that fabric is properly cleaned.
To prevent any further damage, lay your swimwear flat on a towel and air dry. Avoid using a dryer, as this can cause stain to set in permanently.
If, after following all the steps above, the stain remains, repeat the process until it has been fully removed. Depending on how set in the stain is, you may need to apply an additional dose of stain remover.
