What You'll Need

  • White Vinegar
  • Baking Soda
  • Toothbrush
  • Soft Cloth

Step One: Make a Cleaning Mixture

Mix equal parts of baking soda and white vinegar in a bowl. The mixture should become slightly foamy. Don't worry if it doesn't become foamy - as long as you have equal parts of each ingredient then it will still work.

Step Two: Apply the Mixture

Using the toothbrush, apply mixture onto the grass-stained area on the barrette. Gently scrub stain using the bristles of toothbrush until the stain starts to lift.

Step Three: Rinse Stain

After the stain has been scrubbed, rinse the barrette under cold water. If any of the stain remains, repeat Steps Two and Three.

Step Four: Dry the Barrette

Once the barrette is done being rinsed, gently dry it off with a soft cloth. The grass stain should be completely gone!

Conclusion

You've now successfully removed that pesky grass stain from the barrette. Using just a few items found around the house, you were able to get your little one's barrette looking good as new. Take a step back and admire your hard work!
