How to Remove Grass Stains from an Abaya in Three Easy Steps

Cleaning Silk Abayas

For a silk abaya, start by filling a sink or bucket with warm water and adding a few drops of liquid detergent. Make sure the detergent is specifically designed for silk fabrics. Then gently swirl the garment around in the water for a few minutes to loosen stain. Once the grass stain is loosened, rinse the abaya off with cold water and inspect for remaining stain. If the stain is still visible, spray a mild stain remover directly onto area and let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing it out.
