Gather Supplies

Before getting started, gather the supplies you’ll need:

  • A damp cloth
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Laundry detergent or pre-treatment solution

Testing the Fabric

Before proceeding, it’s important to test that materials you’re using won’t damage the fabric of your yoga pants. To do this, mix a small amount of rubbing alcohol with water then dab a hidden spot on the garment with the solution. If there is no adverse reaction, continue on with the next steps.

Removing the Glue Stain

First, gently rub the glue stain with a damp cloth to remove any excess material. Next, apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol directly onto the glue stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Finally, rinse the fabric with lukewarm water to remove any residue.

Cleaning and Treating

Once the glue is removed, use a pre-treatment solution or laundry detergent to clean the fabric. Follow the directions and timing listed on the product’s packaging. Once clean, rinse the garment with cold water to remove any remaining soap residue.

Air Drying

Finally, air dry the yoga pants either outside or indoors on a line or drying rack. Try to avoid any direct sunlight or heat which could shrink the fabric or cause fading.
