Step 1: Scrape off the Excess Glue

Once any excess glue has been scraped off with a plastic spoon or knife, the remaining stain should be dampened with warm water.

Step 2: Apply an Appropriate Cleaning Solution

A cleaning solution of warm water and white vinegar applied with a sponge will help to break down the glue and make it easier to remove. Alternatively, alcohol-based cleaners can also be used.

Step 3: Wipe off the Glue

Using a clean cloth, buff away any remaining glue until it has been completely removed.

Additional Tips

  • Baking soda can be sprinkled onto the glue to help absorb any residue for easier removal.
  • Be careful not to use too much pressure when wiping off the glue, as this can scratch window’s surface.
  • Always test any cleaning solutions on a small area first, to ensure there is no discoloration or damage.
