Step 1: Choose Right Solvent

First, you'll need to find a solvent that is safe to use on your wallet. Isopropyl alcohol or acetone are two common solvents that you can use for this task. Be sure to test the solvent on an inconspicuous area of your wallet first to ensure that it won't damage the material or the colors accordingly.

Step 2: Place Your Wallet on a Stable Surface

Place your wallet on a flat, stable surface such as a kitchen countertop or table. This will make it easier to work on and ensure that the glue doesn't spread during cleaning.

Step 3: Apply Solvent to Glue Stain

Using a clean white cloth, gently apply the chosen solvent to the glue stain. Do not scrub or rub the cloth against the stained area as this could damage the wallet.

Step 4: Wipe Away Excess Glue

Once the glue has softened, use a new cloth to gently wipe away any remaining residue. Make sure to work in one direction rather than back and forth to avoid making the stain worse.

Step 5: Let Your Wallet Dry Completely

Once glue has been removed, let the wallet sit in a well-ventilated area for several hours to allow it to dry completely. Afterward, your wallet should look as good as new.
