Cleaning Glue Stains from Umbrellas

When your umbrella gets a stubborn glue stain, don't fret. You can easily remove it and get your umbrella looking good as new again. Here are some tips to help you out:

  • For a quick fix, try using a dry cloth or paper towel to rub the glue away. If that doesn't work, then move on to next steps.
  • Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water together in a bowl. Dip a cloth into mixture and use it to dab onto glue stain until it is gone.
  • If the glue does not come off with the vinegar and water solution, try mixing a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to the stain. Let paste sit on the stain for a few minutes, then wipe away with a damp cloth.
  • If stain is still there, try dabbing it with rubbing alcohol. Once the stain is removed, be sure to rinse the area with water and let the umbrella air dry.

By following these simple steps, you'll be able to get rid of glue stains on your umbrella quickly and easily. Keep your umbrella looking and functioning its best by keeping it clean and in good shape.
