How to Easily Remove Glue Stains from Your Tuxedo
Glue stains on tuxedos can be frustrating, but luckily, they don't have to ruin your look. Cleaning glue off of a tuxedo is possible with some simple yet effective techniques.

Things You'll Need:
- Dry cleaning solvent
- Soft-bristle brush
- Vinegar
- Wet cloth
Cleaning Off the Glue Stain
- Soak the stain in a dry cleaning solvent before trying anything else. Allow it to soak for about 15 minutes.
- Scrub off the excess glue with a soft-bristle brush.
- Rinse the area with water and let it dry.
- If any glue remains, use a diluted solution of vinegar and water on stain.
- With a wet cloth, blot the area until the glue is completely removed.
Preventing Glue Stains
- Avoid wearing items that contain adhesives, such as stickers or patches, on your tuxedo.
- Be mindful of where you are sitting, standing, or walking, as glue can quickly get stuck onto the fabric of a tuxedo.
- If you come into contact with glue, take off your tuxedo and clean it immediately.
