What You'll Need:
- Rubbing alcohol
- Vinegar
- Lint-free cloth or sponge
- Iron (optional)
Instructions:
- Dab the glue with a lint-free cloth; avoid rubbing, as this can spread the glue.
- Mix rubbing alcohol and vinegar in a 1:2 ratio. Use this solution to dab the stain.
- Rinse with warm water. Change the water often to keep the stain from setting.
- If there is still a residue, apply a pre-treatment stain remover and launder with cold water.
- If stain persists, you can use an iron on a low heat setting to loosen the residue. Place a damp cloth between the fabric and the iron.
Tips and Warnings:
- Do not rub glue. Rubbing may spread the stain and cause it to set deeper into the fabric.
- Test a hidden area of the fabric before starting to ensure the solution does not cause discoloration or other damage.
- Carefully follow all instructions to avoid damaging the fabric.
