Accidents happen, and sometimes glue gets where it doesn’t belong. If your favorite tunic has fallen victim to an art project disaster or an unfortunate crafting mishap, you’ll want to take action as soon as possible. Fortunately, removing glue stains from clothing isn’t as difficult as it may seem! Here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Pre-Treat With Stain Remover

Whether it’s caused by a craft mishap or something else, treating glue stain as soon as possible is essential for successful stain removal. Start by pre-treating with a good laundry detergent or liquid detergent. Most stains respond well to a standard pre-treatment procedure, so be sure to follow the instructions on the product.

Step 2: Rinse With Cold Water

Once you've pre-treated the stain, rinse the affected area with cold water. You can do this by running material under cold water in a sink or filling a bucket or bowl with cold water and soaking it there.

Step 3: Apply A Cleaning Solution

After rinsing the stain, you'll want to apply a cleaning solution. There are a few different products you can use, such as hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or a commercial-strength stain remover. Depending on the product you choose, the instructions may differ slightly, but typically you'll want to generously apply product to stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing with cold water.

Step 4: Machine Wash on Low Heat

Once you’ve treated the stain, you’ll want to machine wash the item on the lowest heat setting available. Be sure to read the care instructions for your garment before washing as some fabrics may require that you pre-soak the material in cold water first. Additionally, you may want to add a small amount of bleach for added stain-fighting power.

And there you have it - four easy steps to remove glue stains from your tunic. Good luck, and remember: no matter how bad the stain looks, don't give up! With a little bit of patience and elbow grease, you'll be able to restore your tunic to its former glory.
