glue

Glue is a common substance used to put together toys, furniture, projects, and much more. With that being said, however, it is extremely frustrating when glue still leaves behind noticeable stains. It may seem like the item is now ruined, but there is no need to worry. In just three easy steps, you can remove those stubborn glue stains from your kids' favorite toys.

Step 1: Scrape Off Any Excess Glue

The first step of the process is to scrape off any excess glue that has been left behind. Use a small knife or craft blade to carefully remove any of the glue that is still visible. Try to be gentle with this step, as you don’t want to damage the toy.

Step 2: Apply a Cleaning Solution

Once excess glue has been scraped off, it is time to apply a cleaning solution. An equal mixture of water and white vinegar is perfect for this process. Mix these two ingredients in a spray bottle and lightly spray the glue stain. Let solution sit for a few minutes before proceeding to the next step.

Step 3: Wipe Off the Stain

After the cleaning solution has had a chance to work its magic, use a soft cloth to wipe away the glue stain. You may need to use a bit of elbow grease to get rid of any stubborn bits of glue. Once all of the glue is gone, take a clean cloth and wipe down the area to remove any traces of the cleaning solution.

And that's it! You have successfully removed the glue stain from the toy without any further damage. All it takes is three simple steps and a bit of patience.
