Removing Glue Stains from Clothes

  1. Check the manufacturer’s instructions to make sure that your sleepwear is safe to use regular detergent with cold water. If not, follow their instructions for washing and cleaning.
  2. Mix together a solution of cold water and a mild laundry detergent.
  3. Soak the affected area in the soapy solution for 10 minutes.
  4. Rinse the stain with cold water and inspect it for signs of glue.
  5. If the stain remains, apply a liberal amount of white vinegar to the area and gently rub the fabric together to loosen the glue.
  6. If necessary, use a soft-bristled toothbrush to work the vinegar into the fabric.
  7. Rinse the affected area with cold water again to remove the vinegar.
  8. Allow the sleepwear to air dry or put it in the dryer on a low heat setting.
