Start by pre-treating the glue stain with a quality laundry detergent or stain remover. If you don't have either of these products available, an alternative solution is to mix warm water and liquid dish soap in a bowl. Use a cloth to dab the mixture onto the glue spot, then try to rub the glue away as best you can.
Next, prepare a stain remover solution using 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 cup of cold water. Place your stained skirt in the solution and let it soak for about 30 minutes. Once 30 minutes is up, remove the skirt and rinse it off with cold water.
Finally, if the stain is still clinging to the skirt after soaking, you can add it into the washing machine along with your other clothes. Choose a normal cycle and make sure to use a mild laundry detergent. The glue should come off completely without leaving any residue.
Getting rid of glue stains from your skirt doesn't have to be difficult. With a few simple steps, you can effectively remove glue spots from your clothing without damaging the fabric. Just remember to pre-treat the stain, soak the skirt in a stain remover solution, and then wash the item as you normally would.
