What You Need to Remove Glue Stains

  • White vinegar
  • Dish detergent
  • Soft cloths
  • Cold water

Getting Started

Mix together white vinegar and dish detergent into a bowl of cold water and soak a soft cloth in it. Gently wring out the cloth and use it to spot treat the stained areas of your silk. Let the spots sit for several minutes.

Cleaning Stains

If needed, re-soak the cloth in mixture before continuing. Gently rub the stained areas with the cloth. Be careful not to rub too hard or you could damage the silk. After spot treating, rinse the area with cold water and allow it to air dry. If stain persists, you may need to repeat the process.
