Clean the Glue Stain
- Start by using a dry cloth or towel to lightly dab the glue stain off of the purse.
- Next, mix equal parts white vinegar and isopropyl rubbing alcohol together in a bowl.
- Soak a lint-free cloth or paper towels in solution, then use it to dab the glue stain gently.
- You may need to let solution sit on the stain for a few minutes in order to fully remove the glue. Be sure to check every couple of minutes to ensure the fabric of your purse isn't being damaged.
- Once the glue is gone, use a clean lint-free cloth or paper towel to dry the area completely.
Maintenance and Prevention Tips
- Act quickly when you notice a glue stain – the sooner you begin cleaning, the better the outcome.
- Be sure to always use a lint-free towel or cloth when cleaning your purse, as this will prevent any extra lint from sticking to the fabric.
- Always test the cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure that the fabric won’t become damaged.
- Try and keep your purse away from sources of glue and sticky substances as much as possible.
