Vinegar is a great option when removing glue stains from clothing since it is natural, non-toxic, and easily available. To use vinegar to remove the glue stain, simply mix up a solution of ¼ cup of white vinegar with ½ cup of warm water. Next, dip an old toothbrush or other soft bristled brush into the solution and gently scrub the glue stain. Follow up with a clean damp cloth to rinse the area.
Rubbing alcohol is an effective way to remove glue stains from fabric. Just pour some rubbing alcohol directly onto stain and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then use a clean cloth to gently rub the glue stain until it lifts out. Rinse the area with cool water afterwards.
If you want to go the natural route, baking soda is another excellent solution for removing glue stains from clothing. Simply sprinkle baking soda over glue stain and let it sit for about 15 minutes. This will help absorb any remaining wet glue. After the allotted time, use a soft brush to brush away the baking soda. Rinse area with clean water and hang to dry.
If the glue has already dried, then you can try using dish soap to get rid of the stain. Just put a few drops of mild dish soap onto the stain and let it sit for 5 minutes. Take an old toothbrush or soft bristled brush and gently scrub the stain until it lifts out. Afterwards, rinse the area with cool water.
