Before you start, make sure to check the care label on your overalls, as instructions may differ depending on the fabric. If the label says to avoid water, do not soak your overalls in water.

To start, you’ll need to apply a pre-treatment solution. Mix 1 tablespoon of laundry detergent with 1 cup of warm water and apply directly to the glue stain. Allow solution to sit for 10 minutes before rubbing gently with a soft brush.

Once the glue has been removed, rinse the overalls with cold water. After rinsing, launder your overalls using the warmest water designated for the care label. To prevent any further damage, do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Be sure to inspect the overalls before throwing them into the drier. If there is still a hint of a stain, allowing the overalls to air dry will be best.

If the stain does not come out initially, try spot-treating the glue stain multiple times. The more effort and time you put into removing the stain, the better the results will be.

Removing glue stains from your overalls doesn't have to be a struggle. Following these steps can help you get rid of stain quickly and easily.
