Glue stains can be a real pain to clean off of any type of fabric, let alone delicate materials like those used for New Balance shoes. But don't panic - with a few simple steps, you can take care of those unsightly stains in no time.

What You'll Need:

  • A soft cloth
  • An old toothbrush
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • White vinegar
  • A damp sponge

How to Clean Glue Stains from New Balance Shoes:

  1. Take an old toothbrush and gently brush away any excess glue on the affected area. Be sure not to press too hard, as this may damage the fabric of your shoes.
  2. Mix together equal parts rubbing alcohol and white vinegar. Dip a soft cloth into the solution and dab it onto the glue stain. You should see the glue beginning to come off of the fabric.
  3. Let solution sit on the glue stain for about 10 minutes, then gently wipe it away with a damp sponge.
  4. If the glue stain still won't come off, repeat steps 2 and 3 until it is gone.
  5. Once the stain is removed, allow your shoes to air dry before wearing them again.
