Start by rinsing the stained area with cold water. It’s important to use cold water, as hot water can actually set glue stain in place. Rinse the area for several minutes until glue stain starts to loosen.
Once the glue stain has been loosened, apply a laundry or fabric stain remover. You can find these products at most grocery and drug stores. Make sure you read and follow the instructions on the product label before using.
Now, launder the lingerie on a gentle cycle. Use a mild soap, such as one designed for delicate fabrics, and be sure to select a cold wash and rinse cycle. Check for any remaining glue stains once the cycle has finished before putting the lingerie in dryer. If any glue stains remain, repeat steps two and three.
Removing glue stains from lingerie doesn’t have to be difficult or intimidating. With just a bit of patience and the right supplies, you can easily get glue stains out of your lingerie and get it looking like new again.
