Glue stains on Levi’s jeans appear as a light pink, opaque residue. This is due to a combination of fabric dyes from the jeans and adhesive residue from glue. Thankfully, removing it is not difficult provided you know the right procedure.

Steps to Remove Glue Stains from Levi’s Jeans

  1. Fill a plastic container with lukewarm water.
  2. Add a few drops of dish soap to water.
  3. Mix in 1/4 cup of vinegar to the mixture.
  4. Submerge the jeans in mixture and leave for 15 minutes.
  5. Brush the affected area lightly with a soft-bristle toothbrush to loosen the residue.
  6. Remove the jeans and rinse with cold water.
  7. Dry the jeans with a towel and lay them down flat to air dry completely.

If the glue stain is stubborn, repeat process. Additionally, you can use a spoon or butter knife to scrape away the glue residue. Just make sure to be gentle so you don’t damage the fabric of the jeans.
