glue Glue stains on the lawn can be unsightly and hard to get rid of. Luckily, there is an easy way to clean them up that will not damage your grass or turf. The first step is to lightly wet the stained area with water. This will make it easier for the cleaning solution to penetrate the adhesive. Next, make a mixture of one part white vinegar to three parts warm water. Apply the mixture directly to the glue stain using a spray bottle or damp cloth. Let it sit for several minutes before scrubbing it with a stiff-bristled brush. If the glue stain is still present after scrubbing, make a paste by mixing equal parts baking soda and water. Spread the paste over the stain and let it sit overnight. In the morning, rinse it off with cool water and scrub the area again with the brush. If this does not work, apply a thin layer of rubbing alcohol directly to the stain. Do not use too much or it may damage the grass. Let the rubbing alcohol sit for 15 minutes before rinsing it with cool water. Repeat this process until the stain is gone. Finally, re-hydrate the grass with a garden hose or watering can to ensure that it is getting the necessary nutrients.
