Before you start cleaning glue stains from jacquard fabric, there are a few supplies you'll need to gather. These include:

  • White vinegar
  • Distilled water
  • Clean white cloth
  • Soft bristled brush
  • Mild liquid detergent

Steps To Remove Glue Stains From Jacquard

Step 1: Blot the Stain. First, take a clean white cloth and dab the stain to absorb as much of the glue as possible. Do not rub the area as this could cause the stain to spread.

Step 2: Mix White Vinegar and Water. Next, mix equal parts of white vinegar and distilled water in a bowl or container. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and then use it to blot the stained area.

Step 3: Scrub Area with a Soft Bristled Brush. After you've blotted area with the solution, use a soft bristled brush to scrub stained area. This will help loosen the glue and make it easier to remove.

Step 4: Rinse the Area. Finally, rinse area with a damp cloth soaked in warm water to remove any remaining bits of glue. Allow the area to dry.

Step 5: Wash with Detergent. To finish, wash area with a mild liquid detergent. Allow the area to air dry.
