Steps for Removing Glue Stains

  1. First, scrape off any excess glue with a soft bristled brush. Be sure to use gentle strokes in order to avoid damaging the garment.
  2. Next, dampen the area with clean water. Blot wet area with a cotton cloth or towel, taking care not to rub stain.
  3. Apply a small amount of gentle detergent to stained area and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Use a soft bristled brush to work the detergent into the stain in a circular motion.
  4. Rinse the area with clean water, then blot it dry with a clean white towel.
  5. Finish off by applying a stain remover to the spot and pressing with a warm iron. Allow garment to air dry completely before wearing.
