However, with the right tools and techniques at your disposal, you can easily get those glue stains out of your handbag or purse. Keep on reading to find out how.

Step 1: Remove Excess Glue

Before cleaning the glue stain, the first and most important step is to remove any excess glue that’s still stuck to bag. The best way to do this is by taking a blunt knife and scraping off as much of the glue as possible. Make sure to move the blade in one direction from top to bottom to avoid damaging fabric, and be gentle to make sure you don’t cause any rips or tears.

Step 2: Use Hot Water to Remove Residue

Once you have removed the excess glue, take a cloth and soak it in hot water. Then, gently rub the affected area of your handbag or purse with the damp cloth. This will help to remove any remaining residue without damaging material. If the glue still won’t come off, try using a dab of laundry detergent on cloth. Just make sure to test it on a small, hidden area of the bag first to make sure detergent won’t bleach material.

Step 3: Dry the Handbag or Purse

Once you have finished cleaning glue stain, let the handbag or purse air dry. Hanging bag up in a warm, dry place should do the trick. Be sure not to put the bag in direct sunlight, as this could cause it to fade. Once the bag is completely dry, it should look good as new.
