What You Need

  • Paper towels
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • White vinegar
  • Bowl of warm water

Step 1: Scrape Off Any Excess Glue

Use a dull knife or spoon and carefully scrape off any excess glue that hasn’t already dried. Be sure to not press too hard, as this may damage the fabric.

Step 2: Apply Rubbing Alcohol to the Stain

Soak a paper towel in rubbing alcohol and dab the stain with it. Let it sit for 10 minutes before wiping it off.

Step 3: Wash It Off with White Vinegar

Mix one part white vinegar with two parts warm water and soak a paper towel in it. Blot the stain with the paper towel for 10 minutes. Rinse off with cold water and repeat the process if necessary.

Step 4: Machine or Hand Wash

Once the stain is gone, machine or hand wash the item using a mild detergent and cold water. Hang dry the clothing afterward.

Conclusion

With these steps, you should be able to get rid of glue stains without damaging your Fred Perry clothing. Repeat the process as many times as necessary to completely remove the stain.
