Materials Needed:

  • Laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Bowl
  • Soft cloth
  • Sponge
  • Dry cleaning solvent (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by filling the bowl halfway with water and adding a bit of laundry detergent into it. Soak the clothing item in it for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. Decant the water out of the bowl and fill it halfway with white vinegar. Soak the clothing item in it for another 5 minutes.
  3. Take the clothing item out of the bowl and dab it gently with the soft cloth. This should help get rid of the glue spots.
  4. If the spots still remain, soak a sponge in dry cleaning solvent and dab the spots gently with it. This should help remove any stubborn stains.
  5. Allow the clothing item to air dry or press it lightly with an iron to get the wrinkles and creases out.

Tips:

  • Ensure to read the clothing label carefully before applying any cleaning solutions, regardless if they are homemade or store-bought.
  • Test any cleaning solution on a hidden area of the clothing before using it on the glue stains.
  • Avoid using bleach on your Forever 21 clothes as it can damage and fade the fabric.
