Here are a few tips to get glue out Dashiki:

  • Gently scrape off any excess glue using a spoon or blunt knife.
  • Soak the fabric in cold water with a bit of gentle soap. Leave for 30 minutes.
  • Gently rub the stain with a soft cloth and liquid detergent. Make sure it doesn't soak through fabric.
  • Rinse the fabric in cold water and repeat if required.
  • If no results so far, try soaking the fabric in hot water with bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar for 30 minutes.
  • Rinse the fabric in cold water and repeat if needed.
  • If there is still some glue left after these steps, use a solution of equal parts vinegar and water to remove it.
