Eliminate Stubborn Glue Stains from Your Coveralls with Ease

What You’ll Need
- A bowl
- Laundry detergent
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Oxygen-based bleach
- Scrub brush
- Clothes dryer
Steps to Clean Glue Stains from Coveralls
- Start by filling the bowl with warm water and adding laundry detergent. Use enough detergent to create suds.
- Submerge the coveralls into the bowl of soapy water.
- Allow the coveralls to soak for at least 30 minutes.
- Next, mix a solution of equal parts vinegar and hot water in a separate bowl.
- Use your scrub brush to scrub the glue stains off the coveralls.
- Rinse the coveralls in the bowl of soapy water, then move them to bowl of vinegar and water. Soak for another 30 minutes.
- Mix a solution of equal parts baking soda and hot water in a separate bowl.
- Pour the baking soda solution onto the glue stains and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Using scrub brush, scrub the glue stains until they are gone.
- Rinse the coveralls with cold water.
- Soak the coveralls in a bucket of oxygen-based bleach for 20 minutes.
- Rinse the coveralls in cold water again.
- Hang the coveralls up to air dry.
- Once the coveralls are mostly dry, you can put them in dryer to finish drying.
Tips for Keeping Glue Stains Off Coveralls
- Always wear gloves when handling glue or any other adhesives.
- If you spill glue on your coveralls, act quickly and try to remove the stain before it sets.
- If possible, use a protective apron or outerwear over your coveralls while working with glue.
