Before you jump in and start removing the glue stain, make sure you have all materials you need on-hand:
Start by saturating the glue stain with a mixture of cold water and mild liquid detergent. Work the mixture into the fabric with a small foaming brush. Be sure to use gentle yet firm strokes as you scrub area in order to loosen the glue.
Once the glue stain is saturated with the mild detergent solution, rinse the area thoroughly with cold water to remove any remaining residue. Again, use gentle yet firm strokes to ensure all of the glue is lifted from the fabric.
After you've rinsed away glue stain, pat the area dry with a towel. Be sure not to rub the fabric too vigorously, as this could cause the fibers to stretch and tear. Let the fabric air dry completely before wearing it again.
