Start by carefully scraping off any excess glue with a dull kitchen knife or spoon. Be careful not to push the glue even deeper into the fabric.
Create a cleaning solution by mixing 1 teaspoon of white vinegar or a few drops of dishwashing detergent with 1 cup of warm water. This solution will help break down glue and make it easier to remove.
Using a clean cloth, apply a liberal amount of the cleaning solution directly to the glue stain. Gently massage the area with cloth to help the solution penetrate the fabric.
Rinse the area with cold water to remove any remaining cleaning solution. You should be able to see the glue lifting off the fabric as you rinse.
If any glue remains, repeat the previous steps until the stain is completely gone. You may need to use a scrub brush to help loosen stubborn glue stains.
