What You'll Need

  • Rubbing alcohol or acetone nail polish remover
  • Soft cloths
  • Baking soda
  • A toothbrush

Steps to Clean Glue Stains from Clogs

  1. Start by preparing the area around the glue stain by wiping it with a soft cloth and warm water.
  2. Next, pour some rubbing alcohol or acetone nail polish remover on the glue stain.
  3. Let it sit for a few minutes before scrubbing lightly with a clean cloth.
  4. If the stain is still not gone, try making a paste out of baking soda and water. Rub paste directly onto glue stain and let it sit for a few minutes.
  5. Once the paste has had time to work its magic, gently scrub area with a toothbrush. This should remove the stain completely.
  6. Rinse the area with warm water and a soft cloth and dry thoroughly.
