Cleaning Calico with Glue Stains? No Problem!

Materials Needed
- Soft cloth
- Mild laundry detergent
- Bucket of cold water
- Stain remover
Instructions
- Dampen a soft cloth with cold water and blot the glue stain. Be sure not to rub, as this can spread stain and cause it to set in the fabric.
- Apply a small amount of mild laundry detergent to the stain and scrub gently using a circular motion. This will help break up the glue.
- Rinse the area in a bucket of cold water. If there is still some glue residue left, repeat steps 1-3 until it is completely gone.
- If glue stain persists, use a commercial stain remover formulated for calico fabric. Follow instructions on the label for best results.
- Finally, launder the fabric according to the care label. This will complete the cleaning process and help remove any lingering residue.
