These stains can seem impossible to remove, and it can be disheartening when you spot a large blotch of makeup on your watch face. Fortunately, you don’t have to buy a brand new watch to restore its shine. This guide will walk through how to clean foundation stains from watches in just a few simple steps.

What You Need

  • A soft cloth
  • Mild soapy water or rubbing alcohol
  • Cotton swabs
  • Optional: Watch protective polish

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Create a soapy solution using mild soap and lukewarm water. Alternatively, you can use rubbing alcohol.
  2. Dip soft cloth in the soapy solution and then gently wipe the area where the foundation stain is.
  3. Rinse the soft cloth with warm water and wipe again until the foundation stain is gone.
  4. If the stain is still present, use the cotton swabs to reach into the grooves and crevices of the watch. Dip the cotton swab in the soapy solution to clean hard-to-reach areas.
  5. Finally, polish the watch with a watch protective polish for extra shine.

By following these steps, you'll be able to remove the foundation stain from your watch, restoring it to its original shine.
