Foundation is one of the most commonly used cosmetics, but it can be tough to remove from clothing. Tracksuits are especially prone to stained by foundation, because the fabric is thicker and more absorbent than other types of clothing. So what do you do if your tracksuit gets stained with foundation? Here's a step-by-step guide for removing foundation stains from tracksuits.
The first step is to pretreat the area. Mix together equal parts bleach and laundry detergent in a bowl, and apply to the stain using a rag or a soft-bristled brush. Make sure to scrub gently; vigorous scrubbing may damage the tracksuit material.
Once you've pretreated area, place the garment in the washing machine with the same amount of regular laundry detergent you'd normally use. Set it to a cold cycle and allow machine to run its course.
Once the wash cycle is finished, check the stained area to see if foundation has been removed. If the stain persists, repeat Steps 1 and 2 until foundation is gone.
Now that you've successfully removed the foundation stains, it's time to air dry tracksuit. Spread the garment out on a flat surface, such as a drying rack or clothesline, and allow it to air dry completely.
Congratulations! You've now successfully removed foundation stains from your tracksuit. Once it's fully dry, you can wear it with pride, knowing that you did it yourself.
