Foundation can easily transfer onto your clothes, but is especially noticeable on a thong. But, the good news is cleaning it doesn’t have to be a headache. All you need to do is follow steps outlined in this article and you’ll be able to get rid of foundation stains easily and quickly.
Step 1: Preparing Supplies and Thong
The first step in removing foundation stains from your thong is to prepare your supplies. The supplies you’ll need include:
- 2 capfuls of dish detergent
- A cloth
- White vinegar
- Cold water
Once you’ve gathered your supplies, lay your thong out flat and inspect for any visible stains. Once you've identified the stained area, make sure to test the fabric first by dabbing a small amount of dish detergent onto a corner. Make sure to wait for five minutes before moving to next step.
Step 2: Treating Stained Area
Take your cloth that has been soaked in cold water and dab the stained area. Next, apply the mixture of the dish detergent and white vinegar to the stained area. Rub the stained area gently with this mixture and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Rinsing and Drying
After 10 minutes, take your cloth and cold water and rinse the area gently. Pat the thong with the cloth to dry.
