Start by blotting stained area with a clean cloth or paper towel. Never rub or scrub Teneriffe lace as this will only cause more damage. If you have access to it, using a mix of warm water and mild detergent works best.
Using a handheld steamer is an efficient way to thoroughly clean your Teneriffe lace without damaging the fabric. Make sure the steamer is set to a low setting and then glide it over stained area. To make sure you are reaching all of the fine details within the lace, make sure you move steamer in small circular motions.
If the stain still remains after steaming, the next step is to pop the fabric in the washing machine. Be sure to use a mild detergent and a gentle cycle and avoid throwing the lace in the dryer - simply hang it up to air dry.
