When you wear a pair of your favourite Supergas around the house or on the go, you may find that foundation has stained them. It's important to act quickly in order to avoid permanent damage to your shoes. Here's how you can get your Supergas clean and free of foundation stains.
Using a dull knife or a plastic scraper, gently scrape off as much of the foundation off the Supergas as possible. Take care not to damage the material of the shoe.
Mix warm water with a few drops of mild soap or detergent and soak a clean, white cloth into it. Then wring out the excess liquid and use it to rub off remaining foundation stain. Make sure to rinse cloth often to avoid redepositing the foundation onto the shoe.
In a bowl, create a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water. Dip a clean cloth into it and use it to gently scrub the stained area in tight circles for a few minutes. This should help break down the stubborn foundation stains.
If the above steps don't work, you may need to use a suede cleaning brush. Lightly rub it in tight circles on the area until all the foundation stains are gone. After this, just wipe the area with a damp cloth and leave your Supergas to dry.
Removing foundation stains from your Supergas is relatively easy if you take right steps. By following the steps outlined in this guide, you should be able to get your shoes looking their best in no time.
