Removing Foundation Stains from your Sports Bra in 5 Simple Steps
Nothing can ruin a sports bra like foundation stains! Here’s how to get your bra back in tip-top shape with just a few supplies!

Step 1: Soak with water and detergent
Fill a sink or small basin with warm water and add a few drops of laundry detergent. Place the stained area in the soapy water and let it soak for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Create a paste with baking soda and water
Mix together baking soda and water to form a paste. Using a soft toothbrush or Q-tip, rub the paste onto the stained area on your sports bra. Make sure to rub in a circular motion.
Step 3: Pre-treat with laundry detergent
Spray the stained area with liquid laundry detergent directly and then use the toothbrush or Q-tip to rub it in. Allow the detergent and paste to sit for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Launder according to instructions
After pre-treating, launder according to care instructions on the tag. Use a mild detergent and cold water setting. Do not put your sports bra in the dryer; hang it to dry.
Step 5: Repeat if needed
If you do not see results after the first round of cleaning, repeat the steps above. You may need to use commercial detergents or stain removers (like OxiClean) to eliminate remaining spots.
