Before you start cleaning, check label of your spandex for care instructions. It's important to know what material you're dealing with and how to best treat it.
Gather your materials: a cup of warm water, a small bowl, laundry detergent, a soft-bristled brush, a clean towel, and a stain remover like Shout.
Dampen the stained area with the cup of warm water, then apply a small amount of laundry detergent on the stain and allow it to soak in for five minutes.
Using the soft-bristled brush, gently scrub the affected area in a circular motion. Take care not to damage the fabric.
Rinse the stained area with warm water. Be sure to rinse out all of the laundry detergent.
If the stain is still there, apply a small amount of stain remover, like Shout, to affected area and let it sit for five minutes.
Once the stain remover has been given time to work, rinse the area with warm water. Once again, be sure to rinse out all detergents or stain remover.
Gently dry the area with a clean towel. Don't rub too hard as this could potentially damage the fabric.
Allow spandex to air dry completely. Do not put it in a dryer.
If stain is still visible, repeat steps 3 through 9.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
