Say goodbye to the days of carefully avoiding those pesky foundation stains on your sarong. This guide will show you how to get them out so you can keep wearing your favorite pieces. Here’s what you need to do:
Start by pre-treating the stained area with a mild laundry detergent and warm water. Gently massage the detergent into the fabric and let it soak for 10-15 minutes. After soaking, rinse the area with cool water to remove any remaining detergent residue.
If the stain is still visible, you may need to spot treat it. Start by mixing a solution of ¼ cup white vinegar and 3/4 cup cool water. Dip a cotton swab into the solution and gently blot the stain until it has been removed. Then rinse area with cool water.
Once the stain is gone, it's time to wash the sarong. Use a mild laundry detergent and cold water and machine wash according to the care instructions. Hang or lay the sarong flat to dry and enjoy wearing your stain-free sarong!
