If you've been wearing your favourite sandals and find yourself with a place of foundation stains, don't worry, there are several simple ways to remove them:
- Vinegar: Mix equal parts vinegar and warm water. Use a cloth to apply the solution directly to the stained area. Allow it to sit for five minutes, and then use a toothbrush to scrub area gently. Repeat as necessary.
- Dish Soap: Make a solution of dish soap and warm water, and use a cloth to apply it directly to the stained area. Allow it to sit for 10 to 15 minutes before scrubbing with a soft brush. Rinse with warm water and repeat if needed.
- Baking Soda: Create a paste with baking soda and water. Apply the paste directly to the stained area and allow it to sit for approximately 15 minutes. Scrub the area gently with a small brush and rinse with warm water.
- Alcohol: Dab a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol directly on the stained area. Let it sit for 15 minutes, and then rinse with warm water. Repeat if needed.
Once you've removed the stain, it's important to keep your sandals clean by wiping them down regularly with a damp cloth. This will help prevent future foundation stains.
