The first step is to pre-treat the stained areas of your robe with a stain remover. Make sure you spray a generous amount onto the discolored areas and work the product into the fibers using a soft brush. Allow the pre-treater to sit for at least 10 minutes before moving on to the next step.
Once the pre-treater has had enough time to work its magic, you can move on to washing your robe. Pop it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle using cold water and a mild detergent. You may also consider adding a fabric softener for extra freshness.
After the wash cycle is complete, take your robe out of the washer and rinse it off. Make sure you get all the soap suds out. You can then either hang it up to dry or toss it in the dryer on a low heat setting.
If foundation stain is still visible after the first wash, repeat the steps until the stain is completely gone. Be sure to use a pre-treater every time before washing!
