For many of us, foundations are finishing touches in our everyday makeup routine. But when you've got a beautiful dark-colored dress, or your favorite white blouse, sometimes foundation can leave behind unwanted stains.

Fortunately, getting foundation stains out of polyester clothes does not have to be difficult – all it takes is some common household items and a little bit of time. Here is how to do it:

  1. Apply a small amount of mild detergent directly onto the stain.
  2. Gently rub the detergent into fabric, using a soft brush or cloth.
  3. Allow the detergent to sit on the stain for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Rinse the garment thoroughly with cool water.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 until stain is completely gone.

If the stain persists after trying above steps, you may need to use a stronger cleaning agent. You can try using a bleach solution (1 part bleach to 4 parts water) or a dedicated stain remover.

Once the stain has been removed, wash the garment as normal. Be sure to read the care instructions before washing, as some polyester garments require dry cleaning or hand-washing.

With the right approach, removing foundation stains from polyester clothing can be a breeze. Just remember to take your time, use the right cleaning products, and be gentle with your clothing.
