Using a cloth, blot the stain using cold water. Be sure not to rub stain as this can cause it to spread. Apply a pre-treatment solution or detergent directly onto stain and allow it to soak for a few minutes.
Put item of clothing into your washing machine along with a regular detergent and set the temperature according to the garment's care instructions. When the cycle finishes, inspect the clothing to make sure the stain has been removed.
If the stain is still visible after wash cycle is complete, you may need to sanitize the fabric. Use either Chlorine bleach or Oxygen bleach, depending on fabric's care instructions, and mix it with warm water in a bucket. Soak the clothing in the solution for 15 minutes, then rinse with clean water, and inspect it again.
If the stain is still visible after the soak, apply a specialized stain remover directly onto the fabric and allow it to sit for 10 minutes. Rinse the clothing with warm water before laundering as usual. Inspect the clothing once more before allowing it to air dry.
With these easy steps, you can remove pesky Paul Smith foundation stains from your clothes quickly and easily. For particularly stubborn stains, repeat steps above until stain is completely gone.
