Step 1: Apply a Stain Remover

The first step in removing foundation stains from oxfords is to apply a stain remover. Use a pre-wash stain remover such as Persil or OxiClean, and spray it directly onto the stained area. Leave the stain remover on the shoe for about five minutes to allow it to work its magic before moving on to the next step.

Step 2: Rub in a Cleaning Solution

Once the stain remover has had time to settle in, it’s time to rub a cleaning solution into stained area. Make sure you are using a gentle cleanser, such as a cream leather cleaner, and rub it into the stain. You may need to do this a few times in order to get the stain out completely.

Step 3: Rinse and Dry

Once you have rubbed the cleaning solution into the stained area, rinse oxfords off with cold water. Avoid hot water, as this could potentially make the stain worse. After rinsing, use a clean cloth to pat oxfords dry.

Step 4: Polish the Shoes

Once the oxfords are completely dry, give them a good polish to get them back to their original shine. This will help to restore the appearance of the oxfords and make them look as good as new.
