Step 1: Pre-Treat the Fabric

Start by pre-treating the stained area using a liquid detergent and cold water. Rub the detergent into the stained area and let it sit for two minutes. This helps break down the foundation so that it’s easier to remove during the washing process.

Step 2: Soak the Fabric in Cold Water

Once pre-treatment is complete, it’s time to soak fabric in cold water for at least thirty minutes. Make sure the fabric is fully submerged in water for optimal results.

Step 3: Launder the Fabric

Take the fabric out of the water and give it a quick rinse to remove any excess detergent residue. Place it in the machine with cold water and a gentle detergent and start the cycle. If the stain has not been lifted after the cycle is finished, repeat the process until it’s no longer visible.

Step 4: Hang Dry the Fabric

Once the washing cycle is finished, hang dry the fabric to avoid damaging the nylon. Do not place in the dryer or use high heat as this can shrink the fabric or set stain.
