3 Simple Steps to Clean Foundation Stains from Your New Balance Shoes
New Balance shoes are a great addition to any wardrobe, but foundation stains can easily ruin their look. To help you keep your shoes looking like new, here are 3 easy steps on how to clean foundation stains off of them.

Step 1: Treat the Stain with a Detergent Solution.
The first step in cleaning foundation stains off of your shoes is to mix a detergent solution. You'll want to use a mild detergent, like a dish soap, and mix it with warm water. Once you have your detergent mixture made, apply it directly onto stained area and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
Step 2: Gently Scrub the Stain.
Once the detergent mixture has had a chance to sink into the stained area, take a soft bristled brush and gently scrub area. If the stain is particularly stubborn, you may want to use a toothbrush to reach the smaller spots. Be sure to be gentle, as you don’t want to damage material of your shoes.
Step 3: Dry the Shoes.
After the stain has been removed, use a clean cloth to dry the affected area. You may also want to use a hairdryer set on low heat to help speed up drying process. Once the area is dry, you can give your shoes a quick spritz of fabric protector spray, just to make sure that the stains don't come back.
