Soap and water is typically the most basic and effective way to remove foundation stains from a cloth or disposable face mask. To do this, simply mix a few drops of liquid dishwashing soap in a bowl of warm water and soak the stained portion of the mask. Once the stain has been saturated, let it sit in mixture for no more than five minutes. After this time, use your hands or a soft-bristle brush to rub the stained area in a circular motion. Rinse with cold water and allow the mask to air dry.
Hydrogen peroxide is an effective way to remove foundation and other dirt or oil-based stains from cloth or disposable face masks. To use, mix 1 part hydrogen peroxide with 2 parts warm water in a bowl or basin. Submerge the stained portion of the mask in the mixture and let it sit for about 10 minutes, ensuring that stain is completely saturated. Once the allotted time has passed, rinse the mask with cold water and allow it to air dry.
Rubbing alcohol is another popular method for removing foundation stains from cloth or disposable face masks. To use this technique, pour a generous amount of rubbing alcohol onto the stained area of the mask. Use a soft-bristle brush to scrub area in a circular motion. Rinse with cold water and let the mask air dry.
