If you've ever used makeup products in the kitchen, chances are you've encountered foundation stains on kitchen utensils. This can be quite difficult to remove as cosmetics contain oils and pigments that bond to the surface of stainless steel or other materials.

Using Dish Soap

The simplest and most cost-effective solution to getting rid of foundation stains is to use dish soap. Fill sink with warm water, then add a few drops of dish soap and mix it thoroughly. Then, submerge the stained items in the soapy water and let it soak for 15 – 20 minutes. This will loosen the foundation, allowing it to be easily wiped off with a clean cloth.

Using Vinegar

Vinegar is an amazing natural cleaning solution and it can be used to remove stubborn foundation stains from metal kitchen utensils. All you need to do is fill a bowl with one part vinegar and two parts water, then soak the items in the solution for 10 – 15 minutes. After this, rinse the items with warm water and wipe them down with a clean cloth. Your kitchen utensils should be clean and spotless.

Using Baking Soda

Baking soda is another great option for removing foundation stains. All you need to do is create a paste with baking soda and water, then apply it directly to the stain. Leave the paste to sit on the stain for several minutes, then wipe it away with a damp cloth. This method should remove even the most stubborn foundation stains.
